Tom's public accounting background coupled with his attention to detail and his desire to help others allows him to provide clients with a clear financial understanding at the highest level of service.

Tom is a Partner and Wealth Advisor at Brightworth and focuses his time on developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies for high net worth and high income earning individuals. Before joining Brightworth in 2011, Tom previously worked for a public accounting firm specializing in corporate taxation and the individual taxation of executives.

Tom is a Certified Public Accountant, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Kingdom Advisor® and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He received his Master of Accountancy with honors and his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting with honors from the University of Georgia.

Tom is a member of the fee-only National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Investments and Wealth Institute, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Planning Association. He is also a member of Kingdom Advisors, the Georgia Planned Giving Council and the University of Georgia Alumni Association.

Tom has been published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution and featured in Financial Advisor Magazine, Kiplinger,, and Yahoo! Finance's online publications.

Tom and his wife, Lindley, live in Marietta with their son, Grady, their daughter, Reese, and their dachshund, Lucy. Tom enjoys sports, history, music, travel, theatre, and cooking.
